Sarabia Optical

Design solutions need not always be complex or boastful, as you often see in loud shiny arches of retail shops. Where the goal is to influence and improve the consumers’ behavior within the store, we felt that creating an effortless look of clarity and definition will leave a more lasting impression on shoppers.

Our favorite optical brand felt it was time to refresh their store’s interior brand image. Inspiration came easily as the Sarabias were pioneers in the country’s optical business and already had a unique story to tell. The objective was to move towards the contemporary. As a subtle homage to the family’s Spanish-Filipino roots, neutral cream and taupe were set as overall colors, while timber planks and stone-inspired finishes lent some personality to the space.

Refined versions of their original wall fixture designs were re-developed and oriented to promote maximum exposure and accessibility. Communication graphics are parked strategically, promoting focus points within the shop. Areas are clearly defined, encouraging customers to go about their store journey with ease.
